about us
Wild places shape who we are. I started Grizzly Peak Consulting to keep those connections alive.

Meet the Founder
With over 35 years of experience in the conservation field — including three decades with Colorado Parks and Wildlife — I’ve worn many hats: game warden, wildlife biologist, manager, and eventually Director of Marketing. I’m also a Certified Wildlife Biologist© with The Wildlife Society and currently teach wildlife management and wildlife law enforcement classes at Front Range Community College.
Over the years, I’ve worked across disciplines — from field biology and law enforcement, from interpretation to education, from botanic gardens to guiding tours. But it was during my time in marketing that I saw something important: while outdoor recreation, tourism, conservation, and education are deeply connected, they’re too often treated as separate silos. That disconnect inspired
me to start Grizzly Peak Consulting.
Grizzly Peak exists to help organizations and communities weave together conservation, recreation, and education into strategies that are meaningful, effective, and lasting. Whether you’re managing a byway, designing a visitor experience, or building a conservation plan, I bring a passion for wildlife and the outdoors — and a deep understanding of how these elements work
together to benefit people and place.
